Fossils
We have a nice collection of fossils that Jay loves to show. He put together the showcase for the children a few years ago and has been adding to it ever since. Some of these fossils are from his own collection and some are for sale. We have a 29in. Stegodon bone, the upper right humorous. This prehistoric elephant predates the wooly mammoth and the mastodon. We also have dinosaur eggs and trilobites, we even have fossilized mud.
The most recent additions to his collection are the fossilized shark’s teeth, 5in. Megalodon teeth, these teeth are approximately 18 million years old. For every inch of tooth the shark would measure 10ft. These sharks are the distant cousins to our great white shark.
