Group Visits

We offer rock and mineral presentations at the shop for children. We do not charge for this service but we do ask that teachers and scout leaders let the parents know that we provide specimen that the children may purchase at affordable prices, from $1 to $5. This is how we continue to give the children the chance to view rocks, minerals and fossils that they may not have the chance to see anywhere else.

Parents, teachers and scout leaders are welcome to visit the shop at anytime prior to the class visit. Our only other stipulation is that the children are informed that not everything in the shop is touchable.

We look forward to sharing our love of the rocks and minerals with the classes, scout groups and families.
