De Luna carries a large selection of herbs and spices. Over 100 different herbs offered. Our herbs are high quality, certified organically grown. The use of herbs for medicines, foods, cosmetics and many folk remedies have been around for thousands of years. The first documented account of herbs was written in Babylon in 2000 BC -- Many of the herbs used then are still used today, such as bay, thyme, caraway and coriander.

Some facts
- Coltsfoot is an ancient cough remedy still in use.
- Dandelion is not just a weed, it has many uses. One use is as a diuretic which replaces the potassium in the body. Many diuretics deplete the potassium in your body.
- White willow bark was used as the original aspirin, it contains the chemical salicin.
- When using dried herbs in a receipe, you need only use 1/3 of the amount of fresh herbs.

We also carry loose-leaf teas from the traditional English Breakfast Tea to more flavorful mixes such as Ambrosia Teas, a delightful blend of black tea, fruits and spices.
Also available are the tea balls, mesh teaspoons and press n’ brew tea bags you can fill yourself.
We carry the charcoal to burn herbs as incense as well.
